Ten years ago we realised something was missing in London street food scene; good honest British home cooking.
We wanted to use the freshest ingredients so each morning visiting the three main markets from which food is brought to the capital each day.
Billingsgate (fish)– Smithfield (meat) and New Spitalfields (vegetables). At 04:00am we’d visit each one (fish on Friday)
We feel like we’ve come along way since then, refining our techniques and flavour but keeping the same values.
We wanted to bring delicious flavours to the street without being over priced or flamboyant.
We still use welfare friendly meats: Free-range chicken and Scotch prime beef and aim to keep it that way. Quality raw ingredients EQUAL quality final product.
